To be used in a group setting, this app -- a participatory simulation - helps students learn how infectious diseases are spread.
Initially, the teacher makes one of the devices "sick." Then the following action is repeated: one student "meets" another student by gently touching their iPads; a germ laden or a germ free message is passed between the devices. Eventually all the devices are "sick."
